Complaint filed against 5 for ₹40 Cr fraud with Patidar outfit leader Naresh Patel’s company

Rajkot: Khodaldham Trust’s co-founder chairman and Leuva Patidar community outfit’s leader Rajkot-based Nareshbhai Patel has filed a complaint against two former employees of his company and others, alleging fraud of Rs 40 crore by selling the authorized design of spare parts belonging to his company PBW Bearings Pvt Ltd.

Naresh Patel’s Personal Assistant (PA), Kaushikbhai Surela, has filed a police complaint against the former employees of the company, Chintan Patel and Bhavesh Amalani, along with three others – Amit Lakkad, Vivek Kamani, and Naman Jain.

The complaint is filed under the IPC sections 406, 408, 418, 465, 467, 468, 489, 34, and 120B along with the Information Technology Act 2000’s section 72A and Copyright Act 1957’s section 63. Lodhika police station’s Sub Inspector Parmar is probing into the case.

According to the complaint, Chintan and Bhavesh were dismissed from their job at the company. It was later discovered that the two former employees caused financial damage to the company by sharing the designs of spare parts prepared by the company. They allegedly removed or concealed the company’s logo from the design documents and shared them with Vivek, Naman, and Amit via email, it is alleged. Subsequently, Vivek, Amit, and Naman sent the designs to customers in the USA and earned substantial profits. The accused individuals are believed to have caused damage of Rs 40 crore to the company.
