17 UGVCL job holders arrested over scam in recruitment exam

Surat: The Crime Branch of Surat Police has nabbed 11 more persons including five women who had got job in UGVCL (Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd) wrongfully by cheating in the exam. With this total arrests in this case rises to 17.
Cheating in exam was done by roping in the Tata Consultancy staffers who were conducting the exam during 9 December 2020 to 6 January 2021. 11 persons who had managed to get job in UGVCL by doing cheating in exam are Nisha Patel, Jalpa Patel, Upasna Suttariya, Niloam Chavda, Jignasa Patel, Prakash Vankar, Altaf Lodha, Manish Pardhi, Rohit Makwana, Pravin Chaudhary and Asim Lodha.
