Chief Officer of Bhuj suspended for sleeping during Chief Minister’s address

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has suspended Jigar Patel, a class-1 officer who till yesterday was functioning as Chief Officer of Bhuj Municipality in Kutch. The decision to put the officer under suspension was taken after he was found sleeping during the address by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel during the latter’s visit to Kutch. Scores of local news channels broadcast the video of Jigar Patel sleeping during the Chief Minister’s important session in Bhuj on Saturday.
