Surat: Prem Lohana, a devotee of Lord Hanuman, has recently installed a 6.25 feet gold-plated 360 kg idol of the deity in his home in Surat.

According to Lohana, the idol has been crafted in the ‘Raudra Swaroop’ of Hanumanji, depicting an incident in Sukarkand from the Ramayan. The silver idol has been assembled by skilled artists from Udaipur and has gold plating. It took six months to complete the intricate work on the idol.

Lohana has opened his doors to all the Hanuman devotees to come and pay their respects to the idol. He claims that visitors to his home have their desires fulfilled. DeshGujarat
