19 persons including hotel owners booked over illegal connections in Narmada Pipeline

Surendranagar: The administration found and disconnected 19 illegal connections meant for water theft from the Narmada pipeline in Sayla taluka of Surendranagar.
The water supply department charged a penalty of Rs. 21.44 lakh to the accused and filed a complaint against them at Sayla police station. Devayatbhai Mansurbhai Sambad, from the agency managing the repair and maintenance of the Narmada pipeline in Surendranagar, filed the complaint.
A police complaint was filed against 19 accused, including the owners of the following hotels: Udayraj Hotel, Parishram Hotel, Khema Bapa Rajasthani Hotel, Punjabi Khana Hotel, Shere Punjab Hotel, Jay Ma Ambe Hotel, Tulsi Ramdev Hotel, Devbhumi Kathiyawadi Hotel, Jay Ambe Hotel, Jay Bhavani Hotel, Kandhali Krupa Hotel, and Devbhumi Dwarka Hotel. The complaint is also filed against the owners of a petrol pump, a sand plant, and 5 farmers. DeshGujarat
