No human rights of kids and women who were hit with stones? : Harsh Sanghavi’s clear talk

Gandhinagar: Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi today while addressing the youths at the Gujarat University hall questioned those who have started uproar over police action against the accused who hit women and children with stones for playing Navratri Garba in village chawk.

He said, “Some ‘Human Rights’ people have arisen a lot nowadays. You all must have seen it. I don’t understand, is humanity only for those pelting the stones? Is there no human right for those little kids and women whose heads are injured with the stones? Should it be or not? Can’t we play Garba in the chowk in our village? Should the right of pelting stones be given to anyone, just because you don’t like it? Is there any religion of those stone pelters? Should there be human rights for those who are injured with those stones?”

“Why is there a talk of human rights everytime only for the people pelting stones? The time to think about it has come. I request the youths that the response should be given against such false talks. You have played Garba with all your heart this year. Was there any problem?”, he added. He said that the people will be able to play Garba also in the upcoming years till late with no hassles. He said that the small vendors of the state were able to do significant trade during Navratri this year. He said, “The double engine Sarkar has done the work of bringing Diwali in the homes of the middle class and small vendors during Navratri in Gujarat.”
