New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved
appointments of 35 officers at Joint Secretary I Joint Secretary equivalent level with pay at
Level 14 of the Pay Matrix. Among them 5 officers are from Gujarat cadres:

Appointment of Shri Lochan Sehra, lAS (GJ:2002), as Joint Secretary,
IN-SPACe, Ahmedabad, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure
of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Appointment of Shri Ravi Kumar Arora, lAS (GJ:2006), as Joint Secretary,
Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, from the date of assumption of the charge of the
post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 04/08/2024 or until further orders, whichever is
earlier, vice Shri Ved Prakash, IRSE (Civil) (1988)

Appointment of Shri Ajay Bhadoo, lAS (GJ:1999), as Deputy Election
Commissioner, Election Commission of India, from the date of assumption of the charge
of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 24/07/2024 or until further orders,
whichever is earlier, vice Shri Chandra Bhushan Kumar, lAS (UT:95)

Appointment of Shri Ajay Kumar, lAS (GJ:2006), as Joint Secretary, Department
of Defence, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of
five years upto 14/07/2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Sanjai
Singh, ICAS (1993)

Appointment of Shri Franklin L Khobung, IFoS (GJ:1998), as Joint Secretary,
Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, from the date of assumption of the charge
of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms.
