Sabarmati: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and medical education trust have decided to reduce the rates of various treatments at SVP hospital in Ahmedabad.

The decrease upto 64 percent has been implemented in the rates of ten various tests performed at the hospital. A decrease of 59 percent has been implemented in the rates of angiography. The current rate of angiography is Rs 19,000 in the general ward. The rate of a double sharing room is Rs 38,900 and single sharing room is Rs 55,350. The rate of angiography will now be Rs 8 thousand for general ward patients. The rates of double sharing rooms will be Rs 16 thousand and single sharing rooms will be Rs 24 thousand.

The new rate of RBC report for blood test will be Rs 225, instead of the current rate of Rs 630. The rates of the antibody test will be Rs 1050 instead of Rs 1160. The rate of the EBC test will be Rs 800 instead of Rs 900. The new rate of HIV test will be Rs 2200 instead of Rs 2720. DeshGujarat
