ACB Gujarat nabs two GRD Police officers in a Bribe case

Ahmedabad: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed a Gram Rakshak Dal (GRD) captain of Bopal police station and a taluka honorary officer of GRD of Daskroi taluka in Ahmedabad in a bribe case of Rs 30,000.
The complainant and his two friends were suspended from GRD positions. The accused GRD captain Janakbhai Rasikbhai Mistri and the accused taluka honorary officer of GRD Vipul Shantilal Shah demanded a bribe of Rs 30,000 from them to re-employ them for the duty. The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused were found taking a bribe of Rs 30,000 during a trap executed by ACB. Both accused have been detained.
