Congress party’s office bearer insult Gujaratis; tweeples react
August 09, 2022
Gandhinagar: Just two days after Bhavina Patel, an Indian para table tennis player who hails from Gujarat won a gold medal, the Congress party office bearer made an attempt to tarnish the image of Gujarat and its people today.
Nattasha Sharma, In-Charge of Mahila Congress Social Media and Ex National Coordinator AIMC (All India Mahila Congress) earlier today tweeted, “Whether someone from Gujarat brought a gold medal in sports or they are only gold medalists in robbing the bank”.
कोई “गुजरात” से भी गोल्ड मेडल लाया है खेलों में🤔
या फिर बैंक लूटकर भागने में ही गोल्ड मेडलिस्ट है😂

The netizens were quick in rebutting her with facts as one user wrote ” Auntie, google @BhavinaOfficial. You will get to know… and soon you will get the result of tweeting the insult to the people of Gujarat.”

People on Social media termed this as Congress party’s hate toward Gujarat.
Earlier Former Congress Party President Rahul Gandhi himself has tried to malign the image of Gujarat as once in 2021 in Assam he said that Gujarat is the reason why Assam is being divided and later in February of this year he alleged that the people of Jammu and Kashmir don’t rule themselves, instead they are ruled by the bureaucrats from Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat.
