SOG teams find more than 113 drug packets at Somnath coast

Prabhas Patan: The SOG (Special Operations Group) team found more than 113 packets of drugs from the seashore of Somnath.
As many as ten SOG teams had conducted a search operation in Gir Somnath district after finding suspicious packets from Mangrol seashore. Total 160 suspicious packets were found from around the seashore from Adri village of Sutrapada to Lati Kadvar. The packets were sent to FSL and the substance was found to be ‘Charas’
SOG conducted another search operation from Veraval to Una seashore. More 113 packets were found during the same. It is written on the packets ‘Product of Pakistan’. As informed by the SOG team, a total of 273 packets were found within 2 days from seashores, which is worth around Rs 4 crore. The round-the-clock combing and search operations are ongoing in the seashores of Gir Somnath district.
