GTU starts offering MA, PG Diploma in Hindu Studies

Ahmedabad: The GTU too has started offering Hindu Studies courses much in the same way as a few other universities in the country. GTU has also entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Australia Hindu Council under which GTU will teach Hindu Studies courses to students from down under.
Currently, a few universities including the Nalanda University and Banaras Hindu University are offering Hindu Studies courses in the country. Now, GTU too has begun offering a two-year master’s degree program, MA in Hindu Studies.
The program will induct 10 students, for which GTU will charge a fee of Rs 12,500. The Australian students will be offered a post-graduate diploma in Hindu studies. Students will be taught online for 5 hours daily as per their convenience in this program.
Demand for such courses has been growing and the GTU aims to tap this demand by way of these two courses that it has started offering. DeshGujarat
