Police complaint over insult of tricolor in connection with AAP’s Mehsana roadshow

Mehsana: A case of insulting India’s national flag during the Tiranga Yatra of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held in Mehsana yesterday has come to the notice of the police after the video of an unknown man allegedly trampling the National Tricolor under his feet during the rally went viral on social media. The Mehsana A Division police station has registered a complaint against the unknown person for disrespecting the National Flag.

According to police complaint, the distribution of Indian national flag was going on near Mahesana old bus-stand gate number 1, next to the closed cabin by some AAP worker. Meanwhile a tricolor was put on the floor and some unidentified person was stepping over it. This news was also relayed on TV news channel.

The incident took place on the sideline of AAP convenor and Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal’s d Tiranga Yatra road show from Mehsana’s civil to Toran Mata Chowk.

Party workers arriving to take part in the Tiranga Yatra have distributed the flags of AAP and the Indian tricolour at Gate No 1 of the old bus stop. In the video that has gone viral in social media, an unknown person can be seen disrespecting the Tricolor by trampling upon it at the site of the flag distribution. DeshGujarat.
