Gujarat CM inaugurates National Mango Festival in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated National Mango Festival at Ram Katha Medan in Gandhinagar today. The Mango Festival will continue till 29th May.
CM Patel visited the stalls of the producers and sellers at the festival. National Mango Festival aims to enable direct selling of mangoes with special identity by the farmers to the customers. The selling and exhibition of the mangoes produced in various regions of the country is held at the festival.

The exhibition of various varieties of mangoes representing various regions has been held in over 50 stalls. Various entertaining competitions, cultural programs, and special activities for kids are also being organized at the festival.
The mango producers from different states have gathered here to also exchange knowledge about how to increase the production of mangoes and maintain its quality. The farmers producing mangoes in many regions including Gir and Kutch, farm owners, and mango wholesalers can use this platform for growth of their sector. DeshGujarat
