Gir Lion hit by moving goods train suffers serious injuries

Junagadh: An Asiatic wild lion of Gir was seriously injured after it was hit by a moving goods train in Amreli district.
The injured lion has suffered serious leg injury and it is unable to walk. It was rescued by the forest department team and taken to Sakkarbaug based medical facility of department in Junagadh.
The lion was hit by a moving goods train near Hathgadh village on Liliya – Damnagar route in dark hours. There was no fencing along side this railway track. DeshGujarat
