Late Unjha MLA Ashaben Patel cremated at Siddhpur

Siddhpur: The last rites of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Ashaben Patel from Unjha, Mehsana took place at Saraswati Muktidham in Siddhpur today.
Her body was taken to her native Vishol in the morning from Unjha APMC (Agriculture Produce Market Committee) complex where it was put for public darshan.
Her cremation was performed by her brother at Saraswati Muktidham in Siddhpur. A large number of people joined her Antim Yatra which started from Unjha APMC to her native Vishol via Baroda bank, Vijay Society, Sajjan Bank, Gokuldham, Umiya mataji chowk, Uma society road, Vishwakarma road, Gandhi Chowk, Unjha nagarpalika and underbridge. Her body was then taken to Siddhpur from Vishol for cremation.
The traders of Unjha and Vadnagar observed a voluntary shut down to pay tribute to her. Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel had reached Unjha on Sunday for antim darshan. He expressed condolence and paid tribute to her. CM Patel appreciated her services as an active MLA.
Many political leaders remained present in her last rites including former CM Vijaybhai Rupnai, GIDC chairman Balvantsinh Rajput, Siddhpur MLA Chandanji Thakor. DeshGujarat
