109 youths take diksha to become BAPS monks

Vadodara: A total 109 youths took diksha in the diksha mahotsav of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha at Vadodara at the hands of Mahant Swami Maharaj and left worldly life to become monks.
Total 54 youth took diksha on the first day of the Mahotsav on 8th December and 55 youth took diksha today on the second day on 9th December.
All those who have chosen monkhood for rest of their life have taken a 3-year training at Sant Talim Kendra of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha at Sarangpur. Out of the youths who took diksha, 14 were foreign residents, 29 graduates, 14 postgraduates, 42 engineers, and 46 were only child of their parents.
