A Navy soldier from rural Surendrangar martyrs

Surendranagar: A soldier named Kuldip Harikrushnabhai Patel from Lilapur village of Lakhtar taluka of Surendranagar working with Indian Navy has been martyred. His cremation was performed in his native Lilapur on 29th July along with Guard of Honour. The cremation was done at hands of his sister Meghaben Patel.
The 24-years old soldier Kuldip Harikrushnabhai Patel had completed his training from Visakhapatnam after being selected in the India Navy. He joined Indian Navy in 2017. He was working on radar in INS Brahmaputra in Indian Navy. His duty was between Porbandar and Mumbai. He was severely injured after his leg slipped into the fan of radar while doing repair work related to setting the frequency of radar in sea near Porbandar. He was admitted to a private hospital in Rajkot for treatment. Though he couldn’t survive and took his last breath on 28th July.
