Rajkot: Two minor siblings suffered burn injuries due to battery blast in mobile phone in Vinaygadh village of Wankaner taluka of Saurashtra region in Gujarat today. Brother-sister were playing with mobile phone when its battery blasted. A child Vijay Thakor had burn injury near eyes. He was taken to Ahmedabad for treatment. Vijay’s sister Sapna has suffered burn injuries over hand and face. She has been taken to Rajkot based civil hospital for treatment. Sometime ago, in nearby Bandhunagar on Morbi-Wankaner highway, a youth on bike had died after battery of a mobile phone in his pocket blasted.
