By-polls of two Rajya Sabha seats in Gujarat to be held separately
December 21, 2020
Gandhinagar: As indicated in an article earlier this month, by-polls for two vacant Rajya Sabha seats in Gujarat are to be held separately with separate notifications and separate polling. While regular Rajya Sabha vacancies in same state are filled with elections through single notification and polling, by-polls take place with separate notifications and separate polling. In case of separate polling in this case, BJP is set to win both vacant Rajya Sabha seats, occupied previously by late Congress leader Ahmed Patel and late BJP leader Abhay Bharadwaj.
