FM Nitin Patel announces Dinkar scheme to ensure day-time agriculture power supply to farmers in next three years

Gandhinagar: Presenting the annual budget for financial year 2020-21, Finance minister Nitin Patel today announced Dinkar scheme under which farmers will get day-time agriculture power supply.
Patel in his budget speech said, ‘in response to years-old demand of farmers that they should get day-time agriculture power supply, I announce Dinkar scheme under which farmers will start getting day-time agriculture power in next three years. Rs. 3500 crore substations and transmission lines will need to be erected and strengthened to ensure the target for which Rs. 500 crore provision has been made in fy 2020-21 budget. ‘
