FM announces Mukhyamantri Pak Sangrah Yojana for farm-side storage structure

Gandhinagar: Finance Minister Nitin Patel while presenting budget for financial year 2020-21 today announced Mukhyamantri Pak Sangrah Yojana (Chief Minister Farm Produce Storage Scheme) under which farmers will get Rs. 30,000 assistance per unit t create small godown, on-farm storage structure in farms. Construction of such structure will not require NA (Non Agriculture) permission. The government has made Rs. 300 crore provision in budget for this scheme.
