Anand: At least seven people died and six others injured in a road mishap in Anad district of Central Gujarat today.

Police said that a truck and a mini truck (pickup van) collided head on near Gambhira Chowkadi under Anklaw police station.
There were over a dozen people on the van. Seven of them died on the spot while the six injured have been admitted to hospital.

Situation of at least two was critical.
