Two trains traveling through Ahmedabad division of WR including Puri-Ahmedabad express cancelled in the wake of cyclone Fani

Ahmedabad: Two long distance trains that travels through Ahmedabad division of the Western Railway including 12843 Puri-Ahmedabad Superfast Express have been cancelled in the wake of Cyclone Fani which is approaching Odisha Coast.
Railway spokesperson Pradeep Sharma today said that 12843 Puri-Ahmedabad Superfast Express would remain cancelled on May 3.
Apart from it, 18421 Puri-Ajmer express which also passes through Ahmedabad division has been cancelled today.
Over all a large number of trains which emanates from Odisha have been cancelled in the wake of the cyclone which has intensified into an extremely severe cyclonic storm and is likely to hit the Odisha coast tomorrow with expected wind speed of around 200 kilometer per hour.
