Tiger in Central Gujarat tried to attack cattle

Lunavada:The tiger which was traced by forest department recently today reportedly tried to attack some cattle in Kotha area in Mahisagar district of central Gujarat.
A forest official said that the beast reportedly tried to attack a herd of cows in the forest area, but however fled when the people closeby started shouting.
He said that the forest department was keeping a close eye on the beast.
Notably, a tiger has been seen in Gujarat after almost 3 decades. Experts believe that it has sneaked in to the forest of Santrampur in Mahisagar district from either of the three neighbouring state of MP, Rajasthan or Maharashtra.
