Vadodara: King of Navratri garba in Vadodara, singer Atul Purohit has failed to get American visa, following which his scheduled garba events in America are cancelled. Purohit and his group had applied for U.S. visa for garba night performances organized by Non Resident Gujaratis.

Purohit has however received Canadian visa, and therefor he will be performing in Canad with his group ahead of Navratri. During Navratri he is scheduled to perform in Vadodara only.

It’s worth noting that smaller groups of garba performance such as Yash Rawal, Ranjit Shripali, Rekha Raval, Bhupesh Panchal, Nilesh Parmar, Vinod Bhvariya etc have got American visa, while leading artist Atul Purohit’s visa application has been denied.
