Surat: Chief Secretary Dr. JN Singh visited the construction site for Surat Dream City (Diamond Research and Mercantile City Ltd) and watched presentation to review the progress of the project.

According to Mathur Savani who is associated with this project right from its conception stage, the project of international diamond bourse which is part of Dream city will be completed in next 30-month period. It will include 9 towers, each 16 storey high. Savani said the project so far has consumed 10,000 tonne steel. Each day 8,000 bags of cement are used in construction of this project. Construction of the diamond bourse itself will be completed in next 24 months.
