Banas Dairy’s 1,000 kw solar power plant commissioned

Palanpur: Banas Dairy is planning for 12,000 unit solar power generation across its various facilities.
At present, a 1,000 kw capacity solar power plant is functional at dairy premises in Palanpur. The dairy has also its units in Faridabad, Kanpur and Lucknow where it is planning to install solar power plants.
The dairy aims to install 12,000 unit electricity/day capacity to generate over Rs 1 lakh value of electricity everyday.
Under the guidance of Chairman Shankar Chaudhary, the dairy aims to shift 20-25% of its total power supply requirement to clean energy mode by 2022 to contribute to Prime Minister’s dream of achieving 100 GW solar power generation.
