‘There are some aastin ke saap in Gujarat Congress, I will meet Rahul Gandhi to expose them’

Ahmedabad: Leader of opposition in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and Congress leader Dinesh Sharma today called a press meet and told media persons that there are snakes hidden inside Gujarat Congress’s sleeve and they need to be exposed.
Sharma is one of State Congress leaders who has been served show cause notice for anti-party activity in connection with his role in December 2017 Gujarat assembly general elections.
Sharma had sought ticket to contest from Bapunagar assembly seat which he was denied. The ticket was allotted to Himmatsinh Patel who won the seat. Bapunagar is part of Ahmedabad city.
Sharma addressing the media persons today said, ‘those who have made allegations against me because of which I have been served notice, should also be asked to submit reply. I am going to seek appointment of party president Rahul Gandhi to make representation in this regard.
He said, those party leaders in Ahmedabad and Gujarat who are trying to finish youth leadership in order to take control of party, those who are defaming other leaders, need to be exposed and time has come for that.
Sharma said there are some aastin ke saap(snakes hidden inside sleeve) in city and state Congress unit who are in collusion with BJP and helping the BJP. They are linked to corrupt contractors, he added.
Sharma said he will meet Rahul Gandhi to expose such snakes hidden inside sleeve.
Sharma said whoever had made complain against him before party high command should be questioned as the complain was baseless.
He said he will submit his reply to notice at State party headquarters later in the evning today.
He said the notice was served to him and his name was made public, therefore he had to go public and hold press conference to make clarifications.
