Ahmedabad: Gujarat incharge of Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) has resigned from his post alleging that party supremo Mayavati was asking him to collect money from Gujarat in exchange of party tickets.

Munshilal Jayant who is incharge of BSP for Gujarat, Dardar and Nagar Haveli and Jharkhand made allegation that Mayavati was asking to collect money from Gujarat. Jayant said he told Mayavati that it’s not possible to get money from Gujarat.

Several other BSP leaders have in the past made same allegations against Mayavati that she sells party tickets before elections.

Gujarat is going to witness general election of assembly later this year. BSP has no history of electoral success in Gujarat.

Jayant is senior BSP leader. He has been with party for last 28 years. Jayant is from Hapud has been on various positions of BSP.

‘I have been a worker in BSP since 1985. I have been Hapud assembly seat president, general secretary, district president, western Uttar Pradesh coordinator in BSP,’ he said adding that Mayavati is no more Dalit leader but Daulat leader.
