Gujarat CM, Union Minister Smriti Irani playing drum at Vadfest event(Video)

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel, Union Minister Smriti Irani , Gujarat Minister Saurabh Patel and Vijay Rupani among others today morning played drums at Vadfest 2015 inaugural event which was titled as ‘drum circle’ in Vadodara.
As many as 10,000 drums which were ordered from Uttar Pradesh, were distributed among school children and others today morning in ‘drum circle’ event.
Rhythm of drum was directed from the stage by professional drummers.
Guinness book of world records team was present here to recognize this event as world record for maximum number of people playing drum at one time in one location.With this Vadfest 2015 cultural/art festival was declared opened.
The event according to organizers was an attempt to make awareness on cleanliness mission.
Three BJP MLA from Vadodara who were earlier upset with Vadfest organizers were today present on the stage after intervention by party leaders and Chief Minister early this week. Earlier this week they had given interviews in media and said that they were upset as they were not given importance in Vadfest affairs.
