CM seeks blessings of Pramukh Swami, Sarangpur Hanuman, distributes equipments-financial aid among 159 farmers

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel today visited Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha(BAPS) chief Pramukh Swami Maharaj at Sarangpur.
Ahead of her visit to Botad to inaugurate Ravi Krushi Mahotsav She visited Sarangpur and sought blessings at Shri Swaminarayan Mandia and famous Sarangpur Hanuman Mandir.
At Botad during Ravi Krushi Mahotsav function, Chief Minister distributed Rs. 51 lakh equipments-financial aid among 159 farmers.
Speaking at the function organized to distribute aids worth Rs. 51-lakh to beneficiary poor farmers at the ‘Ravi Krushi Kalyan Mela’ held at Botad, the Chief Minister said, it is the onus on the government to give impetus to the agriculture sector. Thus, the state government has given assistance to 174,000 farmers for tractors and for 16,956 Rota-weighters.
It should be noted that earlier the government had given assistance of Rs. 35.5 lakh to 97 beneficiaries at Gadhda and helps of horticulture equipments of Rs. 29.46 lakh to 201 beneficiaries of Barvala-Ranpur. Thus, in total aids of Rs. 120.51 lakh were distributed among the 456 beneficiaries of the Botad district.
On the occasion, who remained presence included MLAs – Mr. T. D. Maniya, Mr. Laljibhai Mehr, District Collector Mr. V. C. Verma, District Development Officer Mr. Suthar and others.
