Former Agriuculture Minister Dileep Sanghani was denied entry to stage during SAUNI project fouldation laying ceremony function in Rajkot today morning. Sanghani who lost assembly election in 2012 in Amreli is not even MLA at present. However other party men like former MLA Bharat Boghra, Dhansukh Bhanderi, Nitin Bhardwaj etc(all from Rajkot district while Dilip Sanghani is from Amreli district) were given place on stage. When entry was denied to him, Sanghani didn’t argue with police and silently took place in the audience, some 250 ft away from the stage. Later when media sought his reaction, he said his name was not in the list as per the stage arrangements. He said SAUNI is good for Saurashtra. He said there could be some lapse in arrangement on party’s account, and he is hopeful that it would be corrected in future. He said he had no complain to make, and he was fine sitting with ordinary people.
