Leader of opposition in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and Congress leader Baduddin Sheikh has been attacked with sword in Ahmedabad’s Juhapura area today evening.

Sheikh has been admitted in city’s V.S. hospital.

According to initial version, one Mohammad Hanif attacked Sheikh after arguments over car parking when Sheikh with one more person reached Juhapura to attend a wedding function.

Sheikh is one of the main contenders for Congress party ticket to contest the assembly election from Amdavad’s Muslim majority seat.
