Bhuj-Nakhatrana, Jamnagar-Porbandar highways closed for traffic

It’s flood like situation in Bhuj after continuous 10-inch rain due to well-mark low pressure system over Saurashtra, Kutch and adjoining areas.
Gandhinagar based Disaster Management Authority has moved a team of NDRF to Bhuj for relief work. SRP team has been moved from nearby Bhachau.
Due to breach in Hamirsar lake’s wall, water is flowing in surrounding areas. A road to Hamirsar has been closed for common people.
Meanwhile Bhuj-Nakhatrana and Jamnagar-Porbandar highways are closed for traffic today due to water heavily flowing over the road.
